At True Potential Academic Center, students learn concepts for school and skills for life. Our instructors are highly qualified and we teach California standards-based lessons to ensure that our students are at or above grade level in reading, writing, and math. In addition, we focus on teaching students how to think critically, solve problems, write and speak persuasively, and work productively on teams. By teaching both concepts and skills, we prepare our students to be successful in school AND life.

Owner Maritess Panlilio has over ten years of experience teaching and tutoring and has helped hundreds of students improve their academic performance and achieve higher standardized test scores. Maritess holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard University, master's degree in education from Claremont Graduate University, and a teaching credential in math and english for grades K-12. Ms. Panlilio is a former Princeton Review instructor and was an admissions interviewer for Harvard College for 5 years.
